I photograph the houses of people who have difficulty in throwing things away. Their objects help them feel safe, they take their time, they require their care and are there for them. However, they also make their lives difficult, sometimes forcing them out of their own homes, suffocating them with their never ending expansion. Below a selection of pictures from this ongoing project.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\/<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">En el 2011 comenc\u00e9 mi investigaci\u00f3n visual acerca de la acumulaci\u00f3n compulsiva. Fotograf\u00edo desde entonces las casas de personas que sufren de una condici\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica que les imposibilita el tirar y deshacerse de objetos. Las cosas les dan seguridad, requieren de su tiempo y est\u00e1n ah\u00ed, firmes, junto al acumulador. Sin embargo, toda esta seguridad se contrapone a una dificultad muy grande de vivir bien. Los objetos a veces los desalojan de sus propias casas, sofoc\u00e1ndolos con una expansi\u00f3n que nunca termina.
